When Your Pet’s in Need, We’re Here to Help

At Carter County Animal Hospital, we understand that pet emergencies don’t always happen during convenient hours. When possible, we provide after-hours urgent veterinary care for the Ardmore community to help support pets in need.

During regular business hours, our team is fully equipped to evaluate and treat a wide range of urgent medical conditions. We also offer appointments on the first and third Saturdays of each month for added accessibility.

What Is Considered Urgent Care?

Urgent veterinary situations may include issues that require prompt attention but are not always life-threatening emergencies. These can include:

  • Vomiting or diarrhea
  • Sudden lameness or injury
  • Minor wounds or lacerations
  • Loss of appetite or lethargy
  • Pain or discomfort
  • Urinary issues

If you are ever unsure whether your pet needs urgent care, it is always best to call so our team can help guide you.

After-Hours Availability

When available, our hospital may be able to assist with after-hours urgent care needs. Because availability can vary, we encourage pet owners to call ahead whenever possible so we can help determine the best next step for your pet.

Our priority is always to ensure your pet receives the appropriate level of care as quickly and safely as possible.
