Pre-Surgical Lab Work- The anesthesia commonly used will be metabolized by the liver and kidneys of your pet. Pre-surgical lab work ensures that these organs are not compromised and lessens the anesthetic risks involved with surgery. ($72.00 a savings of $52.00)

Dental Extractions-Depending on the health of the teeth, gums and bones of the jaws, there are times that call for some teeth to be extracted. By initialing this line you give Dr. Wilson permission to extract teeth that need to be removed. (Will not exceed $75 without being notified before hand)

Local Nerve Block- When a dental extraction is being preformed it is a common practice to deaden the nerve(s) that supply the tooth in question with a nerve block so the patient does not experience pain during and after the procedure. ($26.25)

Dental X-rays- Some evidence of tooth decay and better yet root decay in pets is only evident early on by x-rays of the mouth and teeth. X-ray allow us to determine the extent of these problems and make educated long term decisions that would be best for your pet. (1-2 views $25.00, 3-4 views $35.00, 5-6 views $45.00)

Intravenous Catheter/IV Fluids- Before surgery an IV catheter can be inserted so that Quick access can be made to a vein during an emergency situation. Also, fluids can be administered during the surgery to maintain blood pressure during anesthesia. ($25.00)

Microchip- The ResQ Microchip that can be implanted under your pet’s skin will have no adverse effect on their health but would be invaluable if your pet gets lost. The animal shelter and other veterinary hospitals in town have microchip scanner, of which, would give the identity of your pet should it get lost and lose its collar. ($60)

Vaccines- Are all the vaccines up to date? If you would like we can review your pets chart and give any vaccines not up to date while your pet is under anesthesia, relieving any undue stress. (Cost depends on vaccine)

Intestinal Parasites- Would like for us to check for us check your pets for intestinal parasites and deworm depending upon the parasite screening results? (Cost of treatment dependent on size of you pet- Parasite screen starts at $27.00)
